Hi.

Once again I am here with possible problems , my previous link below.

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/keep-getting-error-when-kb3081704-tries-to-install/687f4964-1a0b-4ac2-bb5f-5012fb9dca65?page=5

I have now purchased a brand new Acer Aspire F5-571 laptop pre- installed with Windows 10 home premium purchased from Currys on the 5 October , I also got a backup USB memory stick. It was setup ready to go.

When I opened it up and checked it out , I checked the installed updated and there were 3 showing. So I checked for latest updates and a few came up , when it had finished I checked update history and all had failed.

So I updated again and a fair while later my PC restarted and got stuck for 15 minutes on the Acer Screen so I phoned the Currys helpline who told me to hold down the power button , so far so good.

So I updated a 3rd time , but this time came up as windows 10 update , this took quite a while and a screen came on with a dial and the pc restarted 3 or 4 times.

When it finished I checked the update history and it showed the following.

Installed Updates

KB3133431 05/02/2016.....KB3132372 05/02/2016.....KB3124262 05/02/2016....KB3136561 05/02/2016 end

Update History

KB3133431 05/02/2016.....KB3132372 05/02/2016 end

While writing this it has down loaded updates KB3135173 09/02/2016.....KB890830 09/02/2016 I wont know the results until I restart my pc.

It has tried to download KB????262 a couple of times but nothing shows , I have the full number some where.

Ive run mcaFee removal tool supplied by you on the last thread as it was installed on this pc.

About 4 times now and while writing this a screen comes up saying ' your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart' with a % count down timer to restart.

The 3 updates that were showing when unboxed are no longer showing .
