Synopsis[edit]
Ramayan tells the story of Rama, the eldest son of Dasharatha, the King of Ayodhya. Rama is due to become king after his father's retirement, but his stepmother, Kaikeyi wants her son Bharata to take the throne.

Dasharatha keeps his word and with a heavy heart asks Rama to leave for the forest. Rama accepts the exile and is accompanied by his wife Mata Sita and younger brother Lakshmana. When Bharat learns that his mother is responsible for Rama's exile he renounces her and beseeches Rama to return to Ayodhya. Rama declines, whereupon Bharat places Rama's paduka on the throne as a symbol that Rama is the true king.
Bharat served Ayodhya for the next fourteen years keeping charan paduka of Rama on the throne. Ravan, the evil King of Lanka, abducts Mata Sita, prompting Rama, Lakshmana, Hanuman and his army of apes, the Vanara Sena, to rescue her and Rama to kill Ravan.

Ramayan: Sabke Jeevan Ka Aadhar is an Indian mythological television series produced by Sagar Arts which aired on Zee TV.
Synopsis[edit]
Ramayan narrates the tale of Ram who was the eldest of the four sons of Dasharath, the King of Ayodhya. Ram was to become the Ruler of Ayodhya after his father's retirement. But his stepmother, Kaikeyi, under the influence of Manthara, wanted her son Bharat to become the king.
Recalling that Dasharath had once promised to grant her any two boons that she asked of him, she demanded that Ram should be exiled to the forest for 14 years and that Bharat should be crowned ruler in his stead. The promise-bound and heartbroken Dasharath was compelled to keep his word. Reluctantly, he asks Ram to leave for the forest. Rama happily accepts the exile and leaves for the forest and reluctantly accepts the company of his wife, Sita, and younger brother Lakshmana. When Bharat learns that his mother is responsible for Ram's exile, he follows Ram and importunes him to return with him to Ayodhya. But, Ram refuses, so Bharat decides instead to obtain Ram's paduka and places them on the throne as a gesture that Ram is the true king, ruling as his proxy and regent over Ayodhya.
Ram, Sita & Lakshmana wander the forests, combating evil wherever they find it and gaining the blessings of wise men and sages along the way. Many years later, Ravan, the King of Lanka, abducts Sita. How Ram & Laxman along with Hanuman, Sugriv, Jamvanta, & later Vibhishana, along with his vanar sena(army of apes) rescues Sita, and how Ram kills Ravan constitutes the rest of the story.
